Primary school teachers are required to set up 30 minutes of Daily Physical Activity during school or extra-curricular time. The measure was created to promote the well-being of students and their health.
Since 2022, the French government has introduced the rule of 30' DPA, i.e. 30 minutes of Daily Physical Activity in primary schools. It is part of the Generation 2024 program with a view to Paris 2024 in that it promotes the development of physical skills in children.
Indeed, well-being and health are essential for good student learning.
With this in mind, Master Fafa has chosen to organize races with his class during which the children revise their multiplication tables. It's a three-step game : the students have to run to their teacher to ask him for a calculation, then to their team to write the result on a slate and come back to the teacher to give him the result.
"It shows a real motivation that must be tempered from time to time" - Master Fafa
